    CPE Supervisor

    Work Hours/Shift:

    Full Time

    You Will Be Responsible For:

    + Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program booklet.

    + Supervises intensive units and extended units of CPE as negotiated each year.

    + Provides a learning ministry resource for CPE at all AH pastoral contexts.

    + (CPEV) Expands working relationships with other CPE centers, theological schools, and graduate educational programs.

    + (CPEV) Provides for interfacing of CPE residents and Family Practice Residency program, if supervising residents.

    + (CPEV) Assists in developing, coordinating and supervising Supervisory CPE.

    Qualifications

    What You Will Need:

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:

    + Master of Divinity degree

    + 3 Pastoral formation experience in a spiritual care setting Required

    + Pastoral Formation including experience in a pastoral setting

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED** **:

    • Certification as an ACPE Certified Educator by ACPE Upon Hire Required

    • Endorsement by recognized faith tradition Upon Hire Required

    • Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains Upon Hire Preferred

    Job Summary:

    Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides credentialed Clinical Pastoral Education supervision for adult student chaplains. (CPEV Only - Provides consistent and credentialed pastoral care services to patients, their families and staff .)
