Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando. Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. Job Summary:

The **Social Media Specialist** assists in the planning, developing, executing and evaluating social media and digital content, advertising, campaigns and programs for AdventHealth. The role will include writing and creating engaging content for social platforms that amplifies on-brand messaging to further AdventHealth strategic priorities and business goals. This position requires data-driven decision making to best position content, tell compelling stories and use real-time insights to achieve appropriate audience engagement, reach and growth. This position reports to the Consumer Engagement Manager.

You Will Be Responsible For:

+ Execute on day-to-day social media strategy, content and campaigns across social platforms under the guidance of the Consumer Engagement Manager.

+ Support the Consumer Engagement Manager on managing the social media content calendar to publish to AdventHealth social media handles on a regular basis, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

+ Plan, write, and edit social media posts on multiple channels for multiple audiences.

+ Scheduling and posting daily content to our current social media pages.

+ Work with cross-functional teams to build out editorial calendar.

+ Ensure copy is written in AdventHealths brand voice and imagery/video meets brand standards

+ Work collaboratively with the copy, design, and photography/video teams to develop original channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns.

+ Work closely with Consumer Engagement Manager and Digital Strategy team to build, deploy, track & optimize social media campaigns (in platform) to successfully execute the defined strategy and achieve business results

+ Assist with social media reporting, providing thoughtful, strategic insight to internal teams to help guide decision

+ making.

+ Helps generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual social media reports on the development and progress of our social media platforms and incorporate optimization strategies and analyze data.

Qualifications

What Will You Need:

Education and Experience Required:

+ 2 years of related experience

+ Active Driver's License (DL)

+ Must display a professional manner at all times, be hardworking and ethical, and passionate about writing and digital marketing required

+ Proficiency in AP Style and superb writing and copy-editing skills required

+ Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies and best practices, with proven ability in collaboration, problem-solving, using data to derive solutions, communications, and presentations required

+ Excellent presentation skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with leaders and team members. Ability to manage and set expectations throughout content lifecycles to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables required

+ Proven ability in producing successful content and performance, and demonstrated ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, work under multiple and competing deadlines require
