    LMSW Pay Range:$30.60-$50.49*

     

    LCSW Pay Range: $39.93-$65.88*

     

    The Social Worker functions as a core member of a collaborative care team in the new 12 bed inpatient children and adolescent mental health unit. He/She will assess patients to determine the appropriate services to offer mental health patients and their families. He/She is also responsible to develop individual care plans that include counseling, support services, treatment methods and referrals. Typical job duties include maintaining patient records, preparing reports, monitoring progress toward treatment goals and conducting reviews of active treatment plans. The LMSW will conduct individual and group therapy sessions to patients, instruct other mental health staff in therapeutic techniques, provide crisis interventions, arrange for services form referral agencies and help patients ease back into the community after leaving the inpatient program. The LMSW will work under the direction of a Psychiatrist in coordinating care to mentally ill children/adolescents and their family members.

     

    Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work required (LMSW or greater). Must be licensed by the state of New York. Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. Completed coursework or training in identification and reporting of child abuse and must be a NYS mandated report. Must maintain current BLS certification. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Must possess good moral character.
