As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.
The **Analyst** will support activities, including Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, Content Management, and Software and Network Programming in support of FLMPS and MYNAVY HR SOLUTIONS.
Responsibilities
+ Implement and use Tableau or equivalent BI tools.
+ Perform screening and processing of application requests and review and ensure accuracy of account applications, track account status, and notify users when accounts are created, disabled, or require updating, and maintain statistics on account status.
+ Maintain a database tracking all requests for assistance and customer feedback.
+ Design/draft new reports, documentation, research, and development of new requirements for inclusion into existing applications.
+ Provide and assist in the building of ad hoc queries, interpretation of data, identification
+ of data required to support functional requirements, and support customer requests for special reports.
+ Respond to questions and issues identified by FLTMPS account holders, including but
+ not limited to "what-if" exercises related to potential fleet reorganizations and reductions
+ as well as trouble reports and feedback with existing software.
+ Conduct FLTMPS training remotely using web conferencing/meeting software.
+ Assist customers in entering completions records for various courses of instruction.
+ Provide a weekly report to the NTMPS Pensacola office documenting tasking and work
+ accomplishments.
+ Assist with implementation of agile methodologies within the team
+ Support and assist with the development of documentation and presentation as required.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ 6+ years of relevant technical experience
+ Experience with the Navy and the Navy Training Management and Planning System (NTMPS) is preferred
+ Software Development Cycle
+ Agile Methodologies
+ Technical writing experience preferred
+ Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
+ Experience with SQL
+ 2+ years of recent (within the last four (4) years) specific NETC/MPTE systems
+ (FLTMPS, TWMS, RADMN, ASM, CETARS) knowledge and experience preferred
+ Secret clearance required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Knowledge of and experience with relational database administration.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
