Job Summary:

Responsible for receiving all shipments and transfers from distributions centers and other stores.

Job Specifications:

+ Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr

+ Employment Type: Year Round

+ Shift Type: Full Time hours available

+ Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

+ Receive, document and organize all incoming and outgoing shipments

+ Control the flow of products between back-stock area and the store

+ Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders or other records

+ Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates

+ Insert items into containers, affix shipping labels to shipments

+ Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with vendors to rectify damages and/or shortages

+ May operate lift truck or hand truck to move or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area

+ Maintain filing system for all incoming/outgoing shipments for stores and Distribution Centers

+ Track and follow up with overdue and expected shipments

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace and shipping area

+ Complete all warranty and product special orders following store procedures

+ Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $21.78/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
