    Scope of Work

     

    Trains others in providing 1:1 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children in the CARE (Collaborative Autism Resources and Education) program. Trains and monitors behavioral treatment delivered by CARE ABA tutor(s) and CARE practicum trainees; functions as an assistant on at least 2 cases by analyzing data, reviewing treatment progress, and determining appropriate goals (curriculum development) as directed by TLF HOPE Center Clinical Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field; minimum of 500 hours of supervised experience in the application of behavioral principles to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders required.

    • Previous ABA Tutor experience required.

    • Strong organizational and social skills, able to interact appropriately with young developmentally delayed children, manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; to interact with parents, staff and school personnel in a professional manner. Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner; ability to train others to implement curriculum and behavioral interventions as directed by the Clinical Manager.
