    Responsibilities

    + Provides acute nursing care to the behavioral health care patient utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care.

    + Promotes mental health through the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health problems, mental disorders, and comorbid conditions across the lifespan.

    + Facilitate coordination of care with multidisciplinary groups to optimize care plans, individual treatment plans, and safe discharge.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Graduate of accredited nursing program.

    License(s)/Certification(s):

    + Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.

    + Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.

    + Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + Must possess and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training or obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
