Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. *Location*:St. Vincent’s Medical Center, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606 *_Position Detail:_* · Newborn nursery and NICU coverage: · Weekdays: 5pm to 10 am/ Weekends: 24h coverage · Rounding on healthy newborns only in the morning under supervision of Pediatrician/ neonatologist. Rounding in Nicu is not required. · Hospital coverage includes attending C-sections (both scheduled and emergent), attending higher risk vaginal deliveries, managing photo therapy, occasional Pedi consults to E.D., and stabilization of newborns for transport and admitting newborns to NICU (average daily census 4-6). Neonatologists are responsible for coordinating transport. · 24/7 Neonatologist support and guidance.
