Job Description:
At Regions the Commercial Government and Institutional Banking Executive manages the Government & Institutional business and sales effort for Commercial Banking.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Oversees Government and Institutional (G&I) revenue growth, business model execution, strategic planning (retention, acquisition, expansion), sales performance, G&I Banker development and client satisfaction
+ Manages a team of G&I Bankers through performance management, tracking and sales process driven direction and coaching
+ Partners with local market and regional leadership to shape client selectivity definition and establish market level client and prospecting priorities
+ Maintains area market visibility in terms of joint calling, sales meeting participation, and partnership with area management teams
+ Develops and executes strategy to retain, acquire and expand relationships, deliver on key processes and align associate resources with opportunities
+ Develops revenue and production goals and defines incentive specifications
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience in Commercial banking sales or relationship management
+ Prior experience in management/supervisory role
+ Advanced credit acumen
+ Demonstrated history of executing strategy, developing markets, and closing complex transactions
Preferences
+ Master’s degree in related field

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
