We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving position on mid that verifies and submits documents on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities

+ Coordinate all incoming freight, receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.

+ Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet.

+ Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment, and prepare the BOL (bill of lading).

+ Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times

+ Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health & safety

+ Act as a backup to other departments as necessary

+ Other duties as assigned

Physical Job Requirements

+ Must be able to drive a forklift safely

+ Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

+ Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Essential

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred

+ Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 3 months of hire

+ Fork Lift Certification License

+ Material Handling equipment familiarity

+ Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent.

+ Strong communicator

+ Experience working within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning industry
