Associate Designer, Performance Footwear (Global)

What will you do?

+ Support the Footwear Design team with seasonal research, tool updates, concepts, product design and tech-packing.

+ Execute and create low complexity level products with direction from designers and the design manager, with a defined scope.

+ Focus on learning foundational skills within design process, systems, DNA, brand culture + build cross functional collaboration.

+ Understand brand aesthetic, materials and technologies, fit and silhouette and can execute with a high taste level and critical thinking.

+ Passion for the details, learning and contribute to team reviews, workshops and events.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements within the design and product creation field.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

+ Core understanding for fit, silhouette, construction, materials in performance products.

+ Proficiency in digital tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate in a Mac environment.

+ Understanding of the design process and working to key milestones and deadlines.

+ Tech-pack creation skills and attention to detail.

+ Experience doing research, prototyping and concepting across lifestyle and performance products.

+ Ability to travel domestic and international for market visits and factory support trips.

+ Cross functional and team collaboration.

+ Flexibility and change mindset are key.

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred:

+ 3D design / AI design experience.

+ International work experience and market understanding.

+ Basic pattern and construction capabilities.

This position is on-site at our Denver, CO office with a three-day hybrid in-office schedule. Remote work is not available for this role due to the collaborative and hands-on nature of the responsibilities.

$60,480.00 USD - $75,600.00 USD annually

**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
