    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    As a Therapy Technician, you will assist the licensed Physical/Occupational Therapists and/or licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist Assistants in select phases of patient treatment. You will assist in maintaining a clean, safe and functional department compatible with optimum patient care.

     

    + You will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care.

    + You will treat patients in an appropriate manner according to their age, developmental age, educational needs, and family/guardian expectations as related to the patient’s diagnosis.

    + You will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished.

    + You will clean and maintain equipment, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

    + High School Graduate / GED
