Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager for our leading 3rd party logistics company in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include:

Responsible for all shipping and receiving

Ensure that all work is distributed equally between staff for efficiency

Review workload to ensure proper staffing

Perform accurate physical inventory when required

Ensure that all warehouse supplies are available to complete warehouse daily task

Open and close (alarm) warehouse on a daily basis

Yard and warehouse clean

Inventory freight consolidation

Ensure new warehouse staff is properly trained including temporary laborers

Communicate effectively with upper Management any issues/concerns

Responsible for reporting employee errors/deficiencies to management

Ensure employees comply and are up to date with Warehousing Training Program

Present positive atmosphere for all employees

Conduct weekly cycle counts on random clients

Skills and Requirements

-Minimum of 7 years of experience warehouse environment

-5 years of leadership minimum

-Experience managing 9-12 direct reports

-WMS experience (Acccellos preferred but not required)

-Ability to pass a federal background check

-Works well under pressure and takes ownership of responsibilities -3PL logistics background- HIGHLY preferred

-Bilingual- HIGHLY Preferred

-FTZ facilities (foreign trade zone) experience null
