    Job Description

    An enterprise telecom client is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to assist in infrastructure delivery (virtual compute) and automation, Infrastructure as Code. In this role, you will assist with launch and operationalization of new automated self-service VM solutions on OpenShift Virtualization. You will also drive the effort to convert existing VMware based automation within our existing self-service platforms to work with new KVM/KubeVirt based solutions.

     

    65 - 68/hr based on location

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Strong understanding of Virtualization technologies and VM provisioning workflows in a self-service environment.

     

    Strong understanding of Kubernetes and core concepts.

     

    Advanced Ansible skills - playbook development and inventory management.

     

    Proficient in automating Linux and Windows guest OS provisioning and post-deployment configuration using Ansible

     

    Experience automating VM provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform Enterprise with a focus on declarative infrastructure as code. PowerShell, Bash, Groovy (nice to have but not required), Windows and Unix system administration. null
