• LATAM - Backend Developer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Backend Developer in LATAM to support a large oil and gas client on a global team. This person will be on the platform team but will be working primarily independently on the development and support for an API and ETP transfer project. This is apart of a product that has been spun off to support the end clients to receive real-time raw data. This person will be working in a C# .NET stack around developing services, streaming capabilities, and APIs in the cloud. This person would also be partnering with the DevOps team to also support the product and containerization. This person will be using ETP (Energistics Transfer Protocol) including WITSML and PRODML for a data exchange protocol between applications.

     

    Targeted Rate: $18/hr - $23/hr

    Skills and Requirements

    8+ years of experience with .Net/C# development

     

    5+ years of experience with microservices development, API development, streaming capabilities

     

    Real time streaming development experience

     

    3+ years of experience with AKS

     

    5+ years of experience with Azure cloud development

     

    Advanced knowledge of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles

     

    Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ or other message brokers experience

     

    Performance profiling and optimization experience

     

    Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS and Git source control Oil & Gas experience

    ETP (Energistics Transfer Protocol), WITSML, and/or PRODML experience null
