JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Secretary to join our dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administrative support, particularly within litigation practices, and will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role will be on-site 4 days a week with one remote day. Working hours are general business hours throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to growing an established and growing firm in Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court appearances.
- File and e-file legal documents with county, state, and federal courts.
- Prepare and process expense reports and assist with billing procedures.
- Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and internal staff.
- Assist with general office management tasks such as ordering supplies and printing/organizing documents.

Skills and Requirements
- Strong typing, proofreading/editing, and computer skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant/secretary (litigation firm experience highly preferred).
- Knowledge of or exposure to the Philadelphia Court system.
- Experience with filing and e-filing to the courts (county, state, federal)
- Experience with expense reports and billing processes.
- Experience supporting several attorneys simultaneously includes calendaring.
- Strong communication, time management skills, and attention to detail. - iManage for document management.
- Knowledge of the NJ court system.
- Office management experience (ordering supplies, organizing/printing documents). null
