Job Description
Our Healthcare Insurance client is looking to hire a remote work from home Front End Engineer for a 1 year contract. In this role, you will primarily focus on hands-on coding with React, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and other related front-end technologies. Collaborating with front-end developers, architects, product SMEs, and other subject matter experts will be an integral part of your role. Close collaboration with Product, UX, and multiple Engineering teams is essential to develop elegant, state-of-the-art customer experiences.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail and extensive collaboration in troubleshooting complex data, features, and platform issues.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of strong software development experience.
3+ years of experience in Front End development using React (with TypeScript), JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other FE technologies.
3+ years of automated UI testing experience using Playwright (or a similar testing tool), headless browser automation, and network request logging.
3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, such as Circle CI.
3+ years of expertise in working with XML/JSON and/or developing RESTful Services.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Cloud Experience; preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS) API gateways, lambda functions, DynamoDB, Secret Store, and ECS
2+ years experience developing GraphQL APIs in conjunction with React applications
3+ years of technical prowess in designing client and server-side architectures.
Comfortable working with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
Strong debugging skills to effectively identify and resolve issues.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies, with preference for experience in SAFe Agile.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
