Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to support a federal client at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. They will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Functioning as the senior network engineer expert in systems development and network architecture.

- Provide direction to team in development of architecture for electronic circuits and devices or communication equipment.

- Provide technical guidance on requirements definition, integration, testing, sustainment, and performance analysis, including modeling, simulation, and reliability studies.

- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve major system issues by initiating changes to architectures, hardware, and software designs.

- Review and develop comprehensive systems documentation for planning, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Skills and Requirements

-TS/SCI clearance

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics

- Active CISM certification

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering with recent years focused in network architecture

- Experience with cloud architecture and data ingest.

- Experience setting up routers, IP, LANs and VLANs

- Cisco routers and switches experience

- Experience working with Dell storage

- Experience working in an Agile framework null
