Join a dynamic software engineering team at Resideo that designs and develops mission-critical systems supporting life safety signaling and messaging in a public cloud environment. As a Back Office Engineer II, you will play a key role in expanding our cloud infrastructure while ensuring its reliability, availability, and disaster recovery. This position offers the opportunity to innovate, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to systems that make a real difference in people’s lives.

JOB DUTIES:

+ Work as part of Agile / Scrum team.

+ Work with Product owners on estimations.

+ Implement scalable, resilient system components.

+ Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to maintain high availability.

+ Support deployment and integration of new features and updates.

+ Provide Level 3 support for cloud-based life safety systems, ensuring 24x7x365 availability.

YOU MUST HAVE:

+ 2+ years of software development experience

+ Working experience utilizing tools such as C# (.NET Core), Java, C++, and/or Python

+ Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, including on-call rotations

WE VALUE:

+ Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

+ Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

+ Experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus, IOT-HUB)

+ API Development experience

+ Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
