Role Purpose
Plans, develops, and coordinates marketing/communications programs to support business priorities. May include creating, writing, and editing communications and materials for a variety of projects, as well as organizing events and managing digital channels. Mindfully delivers Corning branding/product messages to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support the Manager of Internal Communications with strategic communications, writing, and visual presentation.
+ Lead communication planning for Corning’s Global Security and Health Services initiatives.
+ Provide guidance on internal, external, executive, and functional messaging.
+ Develop clear, consistent content explaining functional strategies and objectives.
+ Collaborate on Corning communication tools to increase employee awareness and support change management.
+ Provide event support and execute communication plans and campaigns for key initiatives.
+ Maintain knowledge of company policies, principles, strategies, and relevant developments.
+ Brainstorm content ideas with stakeholders, aligning with company strategies and brand initiatives.
+ Partner with communications colleagues to address time-sensitive incidents.
+ Respond to urgent requests from Global Security and Health Services leadership.
+ Build relationships with and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
+ Support corporate objectives for global employees.
+ Create and post content for intranet, leadership messages, and announcements.
+ Ensure communications align with corporate brand guidelines across all channels.
Experiences/Education - Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or other related field required.
+ Minimum three to five years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.
+ Strong work ethic, with the ability to lead and prioritize tasks at hand
+ Excellent verbal communication skills and strong writing and editing abilities in Associated Press style
+ Ability to measure communications effectiveness, reach, and engagement
+ Confident advocate of new ideas and comfortable with leadership interaction
+ Capacity to work well under pressure with ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
+ Ability to assess priorities and manage many projects simultaneously
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Self-motivated to deliver
+ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photshop

The range for this position is $70,350.00 - $96,732.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
