Description We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems while ensuring their optimal functionality. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a passion for improving operational efficiency within a non-profit environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for system enhancements and optimization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and implement computer hardware and software systems that align with business goals.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to systems, applications, and network performance.

• Develop and present technical documentation and training materials for users and team members.

• Conduct workflow analysis to support system development and improve operational efficiency.

• Manage and maintain database architecture, including defining logical relationships and ensuring data integrity.

• Ensure compliance with pertinent federal, state, and local regulations related to information systems.

• Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure the reliability and accuracy of system operations.

• Provide guidance and training to users on technical systems and applications. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, applications, and peripheral equipment.

• Familiarity with information systems security practices and quality assurance principles.

• Proficiency in Oracle JDeveloper, Datastage ETL, and Microsoft SQL.

• Experience with coding and database design methods.

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network problems.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present technical information clearly.
