    Description

    Our client in Oakton, Virginia is seeking a sharp Senior Accountant to lead core financial functions and support strategic initiatives. If you have a strong understanding of GAAP, enjoy reconciling data, and can juggle multiple priorities, this role could be a great match.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger

    + Prepare and review financial statements

    + Assist with budgeting and variance analysis

    + Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation tracking

    + Oversee month-end close processes and support audit prep

    + Contribute to AP/AR oversight and expense tracking

    The Right Fit May Have:

    + A solid foundation in GAAP and financial reporting

    + Strong Excel and ERP system experience

    + Comfort with handling complex reconciliations and large data sets

    + A proactive mindset and attention to accuracy
