    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data, ensuring billing processes run smoothly, and supporting legal documentation tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input and update information into designated systems and databases.

    • Maintain meticulous records and verify data for consistency and accuracy.

    • Assist with managing billing processes using specialized software tailored for legal practices.

    • Process legal documentation, including pleadings and lawsuits, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

    • Monitor and track billable hours to ensure proper documentation for legal billing.

    • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve organizational goals.

    • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in data promptly.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

     

    • Familiarity with numeric data entry and complex billing processes.

    • Proficient in using billing software designed for attorneys or similar platforms.

    • Strong typing skills with a high level of speed and precision.

    • Knowledge of legal documentation processes, including lawsuits and pleadings.

    • Ability to adapt to new systems and workflows during transitions.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
