Finance Manager
- Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Chesterfield, VA)

Description - Responsible for the day to day operation of the finance function including, purchase and accounts payables, sales and accounts receivables, wages and salaries, inventory and consumption of goods and materials, fixed asset register, etc.
- Cash management
- Monthly closing and reporting including P& L, balance sheet and cash flow statement completely reconciled with variance explanations in due time
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Annual closing and reporting according to US GAAP and input to group IFRS reporting
- General business controlling and in particular production controlling with analysis and reporting on customer and liner profitability
- Standardize and professionalize the finance function and optimize and develop the business processes with focus on reporting and controlling including tax management, working capital and treasury
- Documentation of business processes
- Establish reporting on relevant KPI’s to support, monitor and further develop the business
- Prepare relevant analysis to better understand the performance of the business and its further development
- Update and migration to group ERP system MS Business Solutions NAV 2018 including standard finance, production and CRM (phase 1: Finance, in progress to go live 1 May 2020)
- Support and align with Group Finance on optimization of the financial set up of ERP systems, development of internal reporting, processes and control environment and Group projects
Profile
- A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Finance and Administration
- At least five years relevant experience from SMEs within finance and administration
- Management experience
- Experience with financial and/or production controlling as well as annual closing and reporting
- A profound understanding of forecasting and liquidity planning, working capital optimization and cash flow management
- Experience from ERP implementation (experience with MS Business Solutions Navision (also known as Microsoft Dynamics - NAV) and working in a production company would be a plus)
- Hands on is key
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – excellent excel and power point skills
- Strong analytical skills, are well-structured and keep deadlines
