Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our nonprofit organization based in Seattle, Washington. This position involves providing multifaceted administrative support across finance, HR, IT, and office management functions. As a long-term contract role, this opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact in an advocacy-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage operational tasks such as file management, onboarding processes, and internal help desk support.
• Monitor organizational workflows and ensure staff adhere to deadlines for document submission and approval.
• Coordinate biweekly in-person staff meetups, fostering collaboration and engagement.
• Occasionally work onsite at the shared nonprofit office space, approximately once a month or as preferred.
• Actively participate in video meetings to support team collaboration and build a sense of community.
• Maintain a dedicated and uninterrupted remote workspace to ensure productivity during work hours.
• Provide general administrative assistance, including calendar management, scheduling, and answering inbound calls.
• Utilize tools like QuickBooks, bill.com, and Shopify for financial and operational tasks. Requirements • Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within nonprofit or advocacy organizations.
• Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, bill.com, and Shopify.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a political or advocacy-oriented environment, including immigration-related topics.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
