Description

We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This long-term contract to hire position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our shipping and receiving processes, as well as inventory management. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, teamwork, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders or invoices.

• Prepare and package outgoing shipments following company and carrier standards for secure delivery.

• Accurately label and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain proper inventory organization.

• Update and maintain inventory records in the system to ensure accurate tracking of goods.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to monitor shipments and address any discrepancies.

• Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.

• Comply with all safety guidelines and company protocols to support a secure workplace.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify shipment accuracy.

• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining inventory records.

• Knowledge of preparing outgoing mail packages and shipments according to standards.

• Strong communication and customer service skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
