    Description

    We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to provide expert-level technical leadership in designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions. This long-term contract position, based in Houston, Texas, offers an opportunity to work on highly complex projects that drive business transformation and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce systems and demonstrate the ability to mentor team members while delivering high-quality solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Architect and implement Salesforce solutions from the ground up

    + Lead design and coding sessions, and oversee solution implementation

    + Develop high-quality business solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL

    + Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft)

    + Create dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

    + Migrate legacy systems (e.g., Oracle Forms) to scalable Salesforce applications

    + Mentor junior developers and act as a technical lead on complex projects

    + Ensure adherence to enterprise coding standards and best practices

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Salesforce

    + Deep expertise in Salesforce core technologies: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL

    + Experience with Salesforce Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com

    + Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

    + Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)

    + Salesforce Communities and Lightning App Builder

    + Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and Visual Studio Code

    + Background in web application development and imaging technologies
