Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Proficiency with NetSuite is essential, as the role involves extensive use of the platform to manage financial data and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accounts Payable and Receivable Support: Accurately process invoices, payments, and vendor accounts while maintaining customer accounts and ensuring timely collections.

+ NetSuite Utilization: Use NetSuite ERP tools to enter financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate routine and ad hoc reports.

+ Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate input of financial data into accounting systems and maintain reliable financial records.

+ Bank and Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

+ Expense Tracking: Monitor and record company expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

+ Assist in Financial Reporting: Prepare and support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

+ Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including documentation of billing and payment activities.

+ Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as procurement and manufacturing, to ensure accurate financial data related to production costs and inventory.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

+ NetSuite Proficiency: Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP for accounting purposes, including billing, reconciliation, and reporting.

+ Education: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with manufacturing cost analysis or inventory accounting is a plus.

+ Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks.

+ Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions efficiently.

+ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
