Description We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This Contract-to-ongoing position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing HR functions for a growing organization of approximately 120 employees. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in leave administration, employee relations, benefits management, and policy development, while demonstrating strong organizational skills and knowledge of employment law.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of employee leave processes, including FMLA, ADA, and short-term disability claims.
• Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of employee leave using tools like SharePoint, ensuring timely communication and processing.
• Provide guidance to employees throughout leave procedures, coordinating with vendors for claim payments.
• Advise supervisors on performance management practices, including the creation and implementation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Address employee relations concerns, foster effective communication, and assist with investigations when necessary.
• Support benefits administration during open enrollment, coordinating broker meetings and communicating plan changes to employees.
• Conduct compensation analysis using tools such as Salary.com and PayFactors, ensuring equitable pay practices and assisting in bonus structure development.
• Collaborate with leadership to create, revise, and streamline company policies in compliance with employment laws.
• Assist in planning and coordinating major company events, including managing administrative tasks related to increased workloads.
• Provide HR administrative support for onboarding, system updates, and other organizational needs. Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources administration, with a focus on generalist duties.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and leave administration processes, including FMLA and ADA.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, performance management, and coaching supervisors.
• Proficiency in benefits administration, including open enrollment and plan communications.
• Ability to conduct compensation benchmarking and analysis using tools like Salary.com.
• Experience in policy creation, revision, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR-related software. TalentMatch®
