    Description

    Our client in St. Mary's, PA is hiring for Data Entry Clerk for a contract opportunity for 6 months+. Pay: $16-17. Hours / shifts? 40 hrs/week (flexible on start times and end times but preferable 7:30 - 4 or 8 - 4:30. This role focuses strictly on entering and validating information—no payroll processing is involved. The ideal candidate will be thorough, organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Enter employee timesheets, hours, benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related data into ADP software

     

    Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before submission

     

    Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to the appropriate department

     

    Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure data integrity

     

    Support the payroll team with data entry tasks during payroll cycles

     

    Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather necessary employee and payroll information

     

    Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and company payroll information

     

    Perform regular audits of data for accuracy

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent required

     

    1+ year of data entry or administrative experience

     

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

     

    Excellent typing and data entry skills

     

    Experience with ADP payroll systems is required

     

    Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other basic office software

     

    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

     

    Strong organizational and time management skills

     

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
