    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing and inputting medical data to ensure smooth operations within a healthcare environment. This position is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare systems and a strong commitment to precision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform accurate entry of medical data into healthcare systems to maintain comprehensive patient records.

    • Assist in managing backflow tasks to ensure efficient handling of medical documentation.

    • Utilize software tools such as AHLTA, McKesson, and IBM AS/400 for data processing and system navigation.

    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to verify and update patient information as needed.

    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards during all data entry processes.

    • Troubleshoot issues related to electronic health record (EHR) systems and provide solutions.

    • Conduct routine audits to identify and correct discrepancies in medical data.

    • Support claim administration tasks by inputting and validating information in relevant systems.

    • Maintain organized and accessible records for easy retrieval and review.

    • Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements in data management processes. Requirements • Proven experience in medical data entry or a similar role within the healthcare industry.

    • Familiarity with healthcare software tools such as AHLTA, McKesson, and IBM AS/400.

    • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and their functionalities.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to adhere to healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.

    • Competence in claim administration processes and related systems.
