    Description

    We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Itasca, Illinois. This is a long-term position designed to support employee relations, assist with policy and attendance inquiries, and help transition operations. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide day-to-day support for employee relations, including addressing attendance issues, responding to policy-related questions, and assisting with login troubleshooting.

    • Facilitate the transition of operations, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with employees.

    • Serve as a point of contact for 1st and 2nd shift employees, supporting a workforce of over 200 individuals.

    • Utilize Paylocity to manage HR processes, though prior experience with the platform is a plus but not mandatory.

    • Collaborate with management to uphold compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.

    • Assist in benefit-related functions and ensure employees have access to necessary resources and information.

    • Foster positive labor and employee relations by maintaining clear and consistent communication.

    • Apply staffing experience to address short-term HR needs and provide flexible solutions.

    • Conduct routine HR tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring all processes align with company standards.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in employee relations and HR coordination.

    • Must be fluent in Spanish.

    • Ability to work effectively with both 1st and 2nd shift employees, addressing their unique needs and concerns.

    • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HR platforms; prior experience is preferred but not required.

    • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and management.

    • Experience handling benefit-related tasks and providing support during open enrollment periods.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage HR tasks for a workforce of over 200 employees.

    • Background in staffing for contract-based roles or flexible HR solutions is highly advantageous.
