Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data processing tasks. You will play a key role in supporting operational processes and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely distribution.

• Organize and process inter-office mail with attention to detail.

• Assist with transactions related to deposits and loan payments using internal systems.

• Accurately input numeric and textual data into company databases.

• Maintain high levels of accuracy while performing routine data entry tasks.

• Collaborate with team members to support operational workflows.

• Identify and correct errors in data entries to ensure consistency.

• Perform typing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

• Follow company guidelines and procedures to uphold data integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or related field.

• Proficiency in numeric and textual data entry with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with computer systems and software used for data processing.

• Strong typing skills and ability to meet productivity goals.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
