Description We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Farmers Branch, Texas. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all audio-visual (AV) needs, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance of AV equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions, and events. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Offer day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for user AV-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.

• Provide technical assistance during events, both on-site and remotely, including managing sound levels, lighting adjustments, and addressing any technical disruptions.

• Conduct comprehensive pre-event inspections of AV equipment to guarantee functionality and prevent any interruptions.

• Plan and organize upcoming events, prioritizing tasks to ensure successful execution.

• Train and assist users in effectively operating AV equipment, addressing common issues, and providing solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges with AV systems, often in high-pressure situations during live events.

• Deliver remote support to users experiencing AV-related issues, ensuring prompt assistance.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment, coordinating with vendors as needed, and install new systems, including configuring control systems and running cables.

• Manage inventory levels of essential AV supplies, such as cables, batteries, and adapters, to ensure availability for immediate use. Requirements • Proficiency in audio-visual systems, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with Crestron systems and related technologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations during live events.

• Ability to provide clear and effective technical support to end-users, both on-site and remotely.

• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and repair procedures for AV equipment.

• Competence in installing and configuring AV systems, including cable management and programming.
