    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a versatile Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate has around two years of tax preparation experience, understands bookkeeping, and is enthusiastic about expanding into financial planning (Personal Financial Planning - PFP) along with tax and investment coordination. While prior experience in UltraTax is preferred, there are no specific education requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare taxes accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

     

    Manage bookkeeping for the firm’s clients, ensuring financial records are in order and up-to-date.

     

    Assist clients with financial planning efforts, focusing on tax-advantaged investment strategies and overall portfolio health.

     

    Collaborate with leadership to provide personalized advice and customized plans for individual and business clients.

     

    Use UltraTax software (training can be provided if needed).

     

    Maintain excellent relationships with clients while delivering timely and proactive support.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years in tax preparation.

     

    Software Knowledge: Familiarity with UltraTax preferred.

     

    Versatility: Comfortable handling taxes, books, and financial planning tasks.

    Skills:

    Strong analytical and organizational skills.

     

    Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

     

    Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    Attributes: Resourceful, detail-oriented, and committed to growth.

    Work Environment and Benefits:

    Hours: Open to full time, part time, or 30 hours a week candidate
