    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our team in Washington, D.C.. As part of this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that contribute to the success of strategic projects and business initiatives. This role demands innovation, leadership, and the ability to address complex technical challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop custom Oracle applications using Oracle APEX 21+

    + Design dynamic web content using JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, CSS, and HTML

    + Create and manage Oracle database objects (tables, indexes, triggers, etc.)

    + Support PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting

    + Handle unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle environments

    + Integrate BI Publisher templates and external web services

    + Migrate Oracle Forms applications to modern APEX-based solutions

    + Develop APIs and enterprise-level workflow applications

    + Maintain system documentation and support Agile development practices

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 12+ years of relevant experience in Oracle application development

    + Advanced experience with Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL Developer

    + Strong background in secure network programming and HTTPS integrations

    + Experience with scripting languages and data migration tools

    + Excellent communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    • Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree in a technical field

    + Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (10G or higher)

    + Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise architecture

    + Experience troubleshooting operational issues in production environments
