We are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator or Manager to join our client's fast-growing marketing team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization's social media presence, managing both organic and paid campaigns, and ensuring consistent, high-quality content across multiple social platforms. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with external partners and the community, and requires flexibility to work outside standard hours to stay aligned with emerging trends. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Manage and optimize content across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube.

• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including short-form videos, reels, copy, and hashtags, to enhance audience engagement.

• Oversee paid social media campaigns and monitor their performance to ensure maximum ROI.

• Collaborate with external partners, community leaders, and well-known brands in Michigan, to amplify the organization’s presence and engagement.

• Utilize digital asset management tools to organize and maintain media assets.

• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and strategic alignment.

• Provide after-hours availability for timely responses and trend-based content creation during evenings and weekends.

• Work with video and photo editing tools to produce high-quality multimedia content.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media for a corporation or organization. Proven portfolio of work is required.

• Proficiency in using Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms such as TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube.

• Strong knowledge of both organic and paid social media strategies.

• Experience with digital asset management systems and content organization.

• Skilled in video editing and photo editing for social media purposes.

• Ability to create and execute content strategies, including short-form videos and reels.

• Familiarity with social media trends and analytics tools.

• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
