Description We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate payment collections, and supporting the company's financial stability. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in deduction management and expertise in handling complex retailer agreements within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payment collections.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable balances to ensure accurate reporting.

• Apply cash payments efficiently while adhering to company protocols and standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage deduction issues, including promotional programs and retailer agreements.

• Perform commercial collections activities to recover outstanding balances and maintain positive relationships with customers.

• Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Support billing functions by ensuring invoices are correctly issued and aligned with customer agreements.

• Monitor and optimize cash application processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Communicate regularly with customers to address payment inquiries and maintain strong working relationships.

• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance accounts receivable operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Proficiency in deduction management, particularly with complex retailer agreements.

• Solid understanding of cash applications and billing functions.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams professionally.

• Ability to manage commercial collections with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships.

• Advanced knowledge of accounts receivable systems and tools.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial operations.
