Description

We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns in compliance with current tax regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings.

• Provide expert advice to clients regarding tax planning strategies and opportunities.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documentation to identify discrepancies or missing information.

• Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as needed to support client records.

• Offer exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and resolving tax-related issues.

• Work effectively during peak tax season, including overtime as required.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all tax-related matters.

• Contribute to team projects and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Proven dependability and a track record of meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping practices.

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and related tools.

• Ability to work extended hours during busy tax season.

• Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality.
