Description

Robert Half is partnering with a Well-Known Company and sourcing for a Contracts Attorney. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work within the manufacturing industry and support key business functions. The role involves negotiating procurement contracts, collaborating with marketing teams, and providing legal guidance on compliance and privacy matters.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft procurement contracts to support business needs and ensure compliance with legal standards.

• Provide legal counsel to the marketing team and other departments within the business.

• Conduct reviews of marketing copy and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

• Address privacy concerns and consumer-facing legal issues in contract negotiations.

• Collaborate with call center operations and other business units to resolve compliance-related challenges.

• Offer guidance on matters related to consumer protection and privacy laws.

• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align legal strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, either in-house or at a law firm.

• Strong background in consumer law and commercial contracts.

• Familiarity with privacy laws and consumer-facing regulations is preferred.

• Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex procurement contracts.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law.
