Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Director to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Springfield, Massachusetts, and offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage critical financial operations within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, organization, and execution of all finance-related functions, including accounting, billing, budgeting, and audit processes.

• Develop and implement policies to govern financial operations and ensure compliance with internal controls.

• Prepare and oversee the annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Manage month-end close processes, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.

• Monitor and resolve cash balance discrepancies and oversee journal entries and accounts payable.

• Supervise fixed assets, 401(k) administration, and billing processes, including accounts receivable and collections.

• Conduct detailed financial analyses to support decision-making and improve efficiency.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data, including forecasts and audits.

• Provide leadership in the preparation of cash flow forecasts to maintain organizational stability.

• Utilize financial management software such as Peachtree Sage and QuickBooks to streamline operations.

Requirements • Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in managing annual budgets, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Expertise in financial analysis and audit procedures.

• Familiarity with financial management tools such as Peachtree Sage and QuickBooks.

• Ability to oversee billing operations and revenue cycle management with a focus on efficiency.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
