Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Greer, South Carolina. This role involves a combination of administrative and HR-related tasks, providing essential support to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors at the front desk, ensuring they sign in and complete required safety waivers before entering the facility.
• Maintain conference rooms by stocking necessary supplies and coordinating office supply orders.
• Assist in screening resumes and applications to identify candidates with relevant experience.
• Conduct phone interviews and schedule appointments for recruitment processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including handling correspondence and records.
• Oversee background checks and auditing processes to ensure compliance.
• Support benefit functions and assist employees with related inquiries.
• Use HR management systems like ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for data management and reporting.
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees and external contacts.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and other HRMS platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience in conducting background checks and auditing processes.
• Familiarity with benefit administration and related functions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with employees and external contacts.
• Prior experience in customer service, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, including resume screening and interview scheduling.
