Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Noblesville, Indiana. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will excel in independent work, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable interacting with clients as needed.
This role has a 30 hour work week
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record and organize financial data, ensuring all entries are up-to-date.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for review by management or clients.
• Collaborate with clients to address financial inquiries or clarify accounting details.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, identifying discrepancies or areas for optimization.
• Support the preparation of tax-related documents and filings.
• Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with not-for-profit accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines consistently.
