Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fixed asset reconciliation and demonstrate a strong understanding of general accounting practices. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the automotive industry while working with advanced financial systems.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Reconcile fixed assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.
• Analyze financial transactions and provide detailed reports to support decision-making.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion for efficient processing and management of accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve processes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
• Monitor and review financial documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in journal entries and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in fixed asset reconciliation and related accounting practices.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
