Description

Robert Half is looking for a finance manager for a growing Northern Kentucky based company. The finance manager position is responsible to build and lead variance analysis to key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year, etc.) and clearly communicate key assumptions/inputs to plant leadership to ensure achievement of performance objectives. Summarize and present financial results and key sales and cost drivers.

Develop and deploy key operational metrics and analysis to support daily management of the business while proactively managing costs and working capital to drive sustainable improvement.

Make assessments and recommendations based on regular review/analysis to site leadership.

Partner with operations to support make/buy decisions, capital investments, inventory management, ad hoc analysis, and other needs.

Lead inventory standard costing and margin analysis activities, including managing the annual standards roll and physical inventory.

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist team in understanding business performance & offer solutions to improve performance

Partner with central accounting to manage and maintain an effective controls environment.

Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

• Proficiency with accounting software systems such as Oracle ERP, Concur, and OneStream.

• Strong knowledge of costing methods, including standard and product costing.

• Experience managing accounts payable, annual budgets, and fixed asset inventories.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and financial services tools such as ADP.

• Demonstrated expertise in auditing, budget processes, and financial analysis.

• Ability to lead inventory management activities, including annual inventory processes.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills to present insights and recommendations effectively.
