Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity of a growing manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and adjust journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

• Conduct thorough reviews of general ledger accounts and maintain their integrity.

• Reconcile various accounts, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.

• Manage and update the general ledger chart of accounts to reflect accurate financial data.

• Assist in evaluating and implementing internal controls to enhance compliance.

• Post accruals for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles.

• Collaborate with team members to support financial audits and reporting requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and managing general ledger accounts.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting software.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including accrual-based accounting.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus.
