Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting customers with inquiries related to housing waitlists and applications. This is a long-term contract opportunity, ideal for professionals who excel in providing exceptional service and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to inbound customer calls, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns related to housing waitlists.
• Guide customers through the application process for housing waitlists, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Collect physical documentation from customers and ensure proper organization and filing.
• Maintain and update records in the company database with high attention to detail.
• Scan and file documents systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval.
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the team.
• Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word to complete data entry tasks and create reports as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries effectively.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
• Organizational skills for handling physical documents and maintaining accurate records.
