Summary
Parkview Health is seeking a System Data Quality Metrics Manager to provide strategic leadership in the validation, analysis, and management of quality and safety data across all Parkview Health System hospitals. This critical role ensures accurate and timely regulatory compliance reporting and supports system-wide quality improvement initiatives through expert use of data platforms and analytic tools.
This leader will drive data integrity and inform evidence-based decision-making, improving patient safety outcomes, operational efficiency, and resource optimization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, analytical thinker with strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
+ Strategically oversee quality and safety data systems and reporting across Parkview Health.
+ Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant regulatory data submissions at state and federal levels.
+ Support and sustain a data-driven culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
+ Administer multiple enterprise data platforms, including Midas, Vizient, GWTG (Stroke & Heart Failure), Tableau, and Webi.
+ Analyze and validate internal and third-party data requests, supporting research and operational projects.
+ Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and data visualization tools to support clinical and administrative leaders.
+ Collaborate with executive and clinical leadership to ensure effective use of data in quality improvement initiatives.
+ Oversee the implementation, testing, maintenance, and upgrades of data platforms and related applications.
+ Guide governance around safety and quality data, developing standards for data integrity and reporting.
+ Deliver training and support for cross-functional teams on data systems and tools.
Education & Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related healthcare field.
Preferred:
+ Master’s degree in a related quantitative discipline.
Experience
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, quality metrics, or healthcare data systems.
+ At least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
+ Demonstrated experience with quality improvement, variance analysis, and statistical process control.
+ Extensive knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, regulatory reporting, and data governance.
+ Proficient with data platforms such as Excel, Tableau, Webi, Midas (Risk, QM, Statit), Vizient, and GWTG.
+ Experience with relational databases and familiarity with healthcare coding systems (CPT, ICD-9/10).
+ Background in project management, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
