This position is the primary point of contact and manages the day-to-day operations of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program as well as assisting in the Public Information functions of the agency.
This position is the primary point of contact and manages the day-to-day operations of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program as well as assisting the Public Information functions of the agency. This position manages the day-to-day operation for the unit’s office functions, including materials inventory and materials distribution. This position oversees access authorization for the agency’s online grant system, development and maintenance of the records retention schedules, assists with GHSP event logistics and processes data and prepares various reports and statistics. This position will handle general office administration duties of the agency assisting the staff and Assistant Directors in day-to-day operations of the agency.
This position serves as the first point of contact for the agency answering general questions and referring more detailed information to internal and external partners, and providing information and support in the preparation of documents, materials, and general information. Handles other administrative duties, including accessing the online grants system and retrieving claims, application and agreements as needed. This position also handles all human resources functions for the unit including primary contact with DOT Human Resources Office. This position coordinates FMLA and workers compensation requirements and paperwork for staff, handles extremely confidential and sensitive personnel information, and provides assistance and technical knowledge related to Human Resources including policy questions, inquiries about online systems and NEOGOV system administration. This position will assist the director in maintaining confidential personnel records ensuring the required personnel information is on file and current. This position serves as the administrative assistant for both internal and external affairs units, and reports to the Assistant Director of External Affairs.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate and establish working relationships with all levels of external partner agencies to implement collaborative programs.
