    ### Job Duties

    Diagnose and treat disease, injuries, and malformations of teeth and/or gums and related oral structures and

     

    provide preventive and corrective services. Maintain the equipment and supplies necessary for treatment of

     

    patients within the practice. Advise patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of

     

    dental problems, or oral health care services. Write prescriptions for medications when necessary.

     

    Communicate with co-workers regarding goals and objectives and the methods to implement them. Maintain

     

    working relationships with other clinic departments, providers, and staff. Attend continuing dental education

     

    courses and maintain current licenses. Comply with Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

    ### Minimum Education Required

    Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.)

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    The position requires a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree, a valid Minnesota State Dental License, and at least twenty-four (24) months of experience as a dentist.
